Whether it’s a hurricane, pandemic, or community-wide power outage, the response begins right away. The Community Resilience Center, together with United Way of Northwest Florida and Rebuild Bay County, is built to act quickly when disaster strikes. We coordinate trusted partners, local agencies, and volunteers to get resources where they’re needed most.

In the first hours after a disaster, we help connect residents to food, clean water, and safe shelter. In Bay County, the 211 helpline plays a vital role in disaster response, working alongside emergency management teams to provide real-time information and connect families with life-saving support. Because we live here, we understand the needs of our neighbors and how to respond with care.

And our work doesn’t stop when the crisis ends. The Community Resilience Center stays engaged for the long road of recovery—helping families rebuild, restoring stability, and strengthening Bay County for the future.
